A Little Update & What’s Coming
Dear Friends, it’s been a while since I’ve written here – April, to be exact! We have had much transition over the last two years, but isn’t it wonderful that God is faithful in every season? I’m constantly amazed at His provision and grace in our lives. Fall is my favorite season and I hope it’s been as beautiful for you as it has been for us. Can you believe it’s already November? Somehow, it doesn’t seem possible that the days have gone by so fast. But, I wanted to hop on here before things get too busy and give you some updates.
First, over the next few weeks I’m excited to be posting a four-part series called Coming Forth as Gold: Trials & Temptations – How Will We Respond? A dear friend of mine is teaching through Job in her Sunday School class, and we got to talking about all the things that happened to Job. It reminded me of something I had seen years ago when studying the book. Job had no idea what had taken place between God and Satan before his suffering began. It caused me to think about the different intentions at work behind testing and temptation, and how we can keep trusting and blessing God even when we don’t understand what He allows. I’m so looking forward to sharing these thoughts with you.
I also hope to share some meditations on Psalms that God has used to speak to my heart as I’ve worked through Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth’s book, Dwell: 30 Days with God in the Psalms. These will be personal reflections on some of the passages and how God has encouraged me through His Word. I am amazed at how His living Word continues to speak so personally to us. No matter how much time we spend in it, we can never exhaust its depth.
And a little farther down the road, I’m preparing an Advent devotional for Christmas 2027, with an emphasis on personal revival. I’ll share more about that as the time gets closer, but I am so excited and appreciate your prayers that God would lead and guide in this project for His glory. My prayer through this endeavor is for God’s people to experience abundant life in Christ through a surrendered life.
I’m hoping to post a bit more regularly now, although I can’t promise a particular schedule. Some of you have asked about more blog-driven Bible studies in the future, and I am praying for God’s will and perfect timing. However God leads, my desire is to share what God is teaching me and encourage you in your own walk with Him.
As we enter this holiday season, I’m wishing you a Christ-filled Thanksgiving and Christmas. Whatever this season holds, may you find time to draw near to Jesus, listen to His Word above all else, and rest in His faithful care. We are living in uncertain times, but we can trust Him and know that He is in control! I believe He is coming soon! God bless you all!
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Romans 15:13 NASB95

Oh how exciting! I am praising our Lord for what He is doing in and through you. I am so looking forward to hear and see what our Lord has put in your heart to share with all of us. We will keep you in prayer as you continue to walk with our Lord. Colossians 1:9-12. Love you.
