The Coming Parousia: End Times Study

I have been wanting to do this for a while. The study of biblical prophecy and the end times is one of my absolute favorite things to talk about! We are living in unprecedented times, and I believe we are closer than ever to the glorious appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ! The word “parousia” is the Greek word for “appearance” or “presence.” Jesus is coming again!

Titus 2:12-13 says, “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus” (NASB1995).

God desires us to live in light of the coming of Christ!

Our God is a God who keeps His promises. He wants us to be watching and ready! Are you ready to meet Him in the air? Can you imagine being alive on this earth when the trumpet sounds? The rapture is a signless event and could literally happen at any moment. I am astounded at how much has been revealed to us in Scripture regarding the time of the end. I want to know as much as I can about the future of the world and God’s plan for the ages. As sure as the sun sets in the west for planet earth, it rises in the east where Jesus will one day set His foot on the Mount of Olives.
